5 January 2010
I had quite a few Christmas weddings at the end of last year and am just managing to get caught up with blogging … ok, ok, I took some quality time off with my husband and friends over Christmas.
I had the pleasure of shooting the wedding of Lindsey and Richard at Ingestre Hall in Staffordshire a few weeks ago. I was accompanied by my American friend and fellow photographer, Chris Meyer of CMPhotographics. Lindsey & Rich current live in Bermuda, so the accent was like being home for them !
We had a lot of fun throughout the day, in fact, it was literally smiles all round, all day long.
A few faves …
It’s not often I get to show off the groom’s shoes … but wow !

The next James Bond?

Speeches and dancing …

A little bit of painting with light …

Lindsey and Richard … thanks for having us, and for all the fun !

Lovely images as always Gill. It looks like they had a ball!!
Looks like a great wedding. Always love your work and this is one of the best yet. That last photo should be on their wall :)
Beautiful images of what looks to be a really fun wedding! Love the James Bond shot, he’s working it!
Gill – we had a fab time – you and Chris were great fun and fit into the spirit of the day perfectly. The images are fantastic – no cheese required.
You have captured, within just a few images, exactly what the whole day meant to me. I can’t wait to see the rest.
Lovely images Gill. I love the James Bond and couple sitting on the stairs.
It is also great to see blog improvements. All the best in 2010 :)
