Another of my December weddings was for Tiffany & Carl … you may remember their recent pre wedding shoot in Shrewsbury {linkie} … to say the day was bitterly cold would be a complete understatement, at one stage I had 3 coats and 2 jumpers on !  But this was not going to spoil the fun for all the family and guests who attended.  Besides, the rain stayed off for most of the day, which was great.  I was ably assisted on the day by Matt Wagster, who also had a few coats in his car, most handy !

Carl had attended Reading School, as had some of his chums at the reception … the school does not normally host weddings, so this was pretty special for the couple.  Tiffany is from Australia, where she met Carl when he was over there lecturing, and her family and close friends had made the trip over to see her marry Carl.

With my friend and fellow photographer, Chris Meyer, visiting from the States, I wanted to make sure I had plenty of shoots lined up. We shot 2 weddings and a pre wedding shoot {PWS} together.

We arranged to meet up with Louise & Mark in Stafford’s wonderfully cosy Starbucks, before we headed out into the bracing cold weather in and around Stafford. The couple were quite shy to begin with and so we headed for the seclusion of the park, mostly deserted due to the inclement weather. The guys soon settled into the shoot and were actually super comfortable with it all in the end … my goodness, with 2 of us directing them, that was pretty brave !
