I first “met” Siobhan and Adam on skype … they both live and work in Dubai, making meeting up before the wedding extremely challenging, in fact, it didn’t happen.  So when I turned up on the wedding day my first challenge was finding out who they were !  It didn’t take too long before we all got to know each other through the lens, and what a fabulous day it was all round.  The weather was fantastic, the bridal party such fun and the whole day went without a hitch.

Siobhan and her girls got ready at Paynes Barn, a couple of miles away from the ceremony barn, but part of Kingscote.  A quaint little cottage was where I first met up with the female contingency … there were giggles, excitement, gorgeous ham butties and of course champagne flowing.  Siobhan had managed to pull together some beautiful details from her trips back to the UK and she looked gorgeous.

Adam was a little nervous when I met with him at Kingscote, but he soon settled into the ceremony once he had Siobhan by his side.  The ceremony was both emotional and fun and of course many friends and family had not seem them for a while, so a little bit special because of that.  We finished the day with some speeches out on the patio in glorious sunshine … and so, a few from the day … enjoy !

I’ve been shooting Mark and his family for many years now, starting with his mother’s friend, then his brother, then his niece, his mother and now him and his lovely wife, Louise.  I also did a pre wedding shoot with them in Stafford a few months ago, so I knew quite a few faces when it was Mark and Louise’s turn to get hitched !

Louise was probably the single most excited bride I have ever seen, so much so I honestly could not get her to sit still LOL … Mark was his usual calm self, proving that opposites really do attract.  Louise was very quiet, however, during the ceremony, but then sprang to life the minute the vicar pronounced them husband and wife (the photo of her turning around with thumbs up caused the vicar to say “oh, NOW you get your voice!” haha

We headed off to Brocton Golf Club where Mark and his family have been members for many years, a beautiful old building set in the Staffordshire countryside, for some fun photos, followed by the speeches that had everyone in stitches.

And so, a few from the day … enjoy !

—————————————–

I honestly can’t believe how time flies !  It doesn’t seem that long ago that I was exhibiting at last year’s show, and it was a huge success for me !  Next week, I will be there again … well, for most of it (read on …)

So, the dates are 8th to 10th October, right after my birthday so I’ll be dead old haha … I am right beside the catwalk again and will have a comfy sofa for you to come take a load off, have a chat, check out some new albums, grab a handful of sweets and generally have a nice time !  I have a gorgeous new frame and some new large prints as well, it’s all been very exciting getting ready for this year.  I will be launching my new exclusive Leather Art album, drop dead gorgeous, well worth a look.

I have my good friend Liezl helping me on all 3 days, with Paul helping out on the Saturday also … oh yeah, when I wont be there !  I have a wedding in Malvern that day, so if you want to speak to me personally, Friday or Sunday will be your best option … that said, the guys are very familiar with my albums and pricing (which is very clear and simple) so dont be afraid to come and see them too !

I hope to see you there !
