Emma and Paul are getting married soon at Chatsworth House, a rather stunning stately home nestled in the beautiful Peak District … by all accounts, and knowing these 2 as I do, this will certainly be a bling affair … personally, I’m looking forward to my first ever ride in a golf cart, but then I’m a bit odd LOL

It was really great to meet up with them at my absolute favourite location in Staffordshire, Shugborough Hall … I know, you’re all probably getting sick of it, but whilst there are definitely locations I use every time, because they’re yummy, there are also loads more locations even I haven’t discovered yet … so we went exploring to find some, and of course, being Summer, we found some amazgin colour and foliage as well. Happy photographer.

So, say hi to Emma and Paul … looking forward to seeing you both soon !

OK, I’m going to have to fess up to this one being a Christmas 2010 wedding … the eagle eyed among you will likely spot the snow in the first image !  What can I say, I have a huge backlog but want to show them all …

Amanda and Daniel got married in the beautiful St Giles Church in Haughton, followed by a (naturally) Christmas themed wedding at Goldstone Hall, nestled in the lovely Shropshire countryside. Temperatures plummeted to around minus 15 but nothing could dampen the spirits of all who attended … besides, the venue had so many little fires and chimineas on the go, no-one stayed chilly for long.

The wedding featured, in no particular order, a pair of killer heels, a panerai watch, a Tiffany’s bracelet, an acapella rendition during the registry signing and a very romantic first dance … and so, a few from the day … enjoy !

I was going to make this a “Three for Thursday” post, then I spotted the shoes … had to share those !!  Not too much on verbiage, other than this was yet another lovely wedding for me, fun guests, great location, vintage accessories and the biggest necklace I have ever seen in my born days.

So, three four for Thursday then LOL

I recently posted a sneak peek from this shoot, but thought I would do a proper post and show some more … Paul is my IT guy and also a photographer who has worked with me over the years … I love getting together with them all and hanging out, and of course taking some photos while we’re at it !  We decided that a picnic at Shugborough would be a fabulous idea and, what with it being my favourite place to shoot, we should grab some family portraits while we were there.

I’ll stop blethering and let you see some photos …

Like them?  Well, I can do this for you and your family too … give me a shout !

Connie and Raymond are getting married next month in Liverpool, but they both live in London, so of course I used that lovely excuse to head down on the train for the day and shoot them in and around some of the sights … like I need an excuse to head to London !  The guys got all dressed up for the shoot and looked fabby, making my job just that little bit easier … thanks guys !!  It’s funny, but even thought they live in London, there were some of the sights they hadn’t been to before, so I felt like a bit of a tour guide … I think it was quite possibly the warmest day since records began and being in Central London didn’t help, but we stayed refreshed with stops at The Tate restaurant and a funky little bistro opposite The Ritz … well, I did say we were all over the place, right?

Just 3 teasers from the shoot … enjoy !

This little face will be familiar to some of you who follow my blog … my friend Becky’s son, George, who I have been photographing since he was born !  He’s now a bouncy, intelligent and fun 7 years old … where did THAT time go !!

I popped over to Becky’s last week and she rather sheepishly pulled out the school photos that George had brought home … well, all I can say is … actually, my Mother told me “if you can’t say anything nice, don’t say anything at all” … moving on.

I told Becky to bring George over to see me in his school uniform so that I could take a few shots of him that mum and dad would treasure, rather than cringe at, to record this time of his school life.  It’s so important to remember what they looked like at every age, every stage in their life, so I was happy to oblige.  So, after a play on the iPad (he got a little addicted to a block game LOL) I managed to get him all comfy and took some portraits.

These are my favourites … I hope you like them as much as I do.
