As soon as I heard that Jenni and Chris were to have a “garden party” wedding, I knew I was the right photographer for the job … vintage inspired goodies, tea cups, morris dancers and party games followed a beautiful church wedding in the pretty village setting of Chebsey.  To top it off there were those red shows and the “dancing” shoes for later !

What can I say about this beautiful wedding … other than, it almost didn’t happen !  A few short days before saying I Do, Katrina was involved in a rather nasty car accident.  To say she was bruised and sore on the day would be an understatement but I will hand this to her … she did not let it ruin her day in the slightest !  There were smiles, there was laughter and there was lots of fun and cuddles with young son, Ziggy (who had also been in the car, but was unharmed and unphased by it all).  It made perfect sense for their little son to be such a big part of the day, including the ceremony, this family are such a tight knit little group, it was a joy to photograph.

The whole day was set in the stunning Moxhull Hall, with a civil ceremony followed by a vintage inspired reception.  Katrina looked stunning in her slinky wedding dress with beautiful accessories and roses to compliment the vintage look.

Last year I had the pleasure of shooting the wedding of Mark and Katy … I first met Katy a few years ago at her aunt’s wedding and so when it came to her own wedding, there was no question I would be their photographer … a real pleasure with such a lovely couple and great friends and family !

The preps started with Katy getting ready at her best friend’s home, complete with champagne and a little bit of borrowed hair (there’s a joke there, let’s leave it LOL) … the intimate ceremony was held in the stunning grounds of Shugborough Hall, in the Tower of the Winds (we managed to hitch a ride in a private bus to take us to the main hall for some photos following the ceremony) … followed by a fun-filled reception at the Moat House in Acton Trussell.  We had some fun with the bridal party and of course we just had to show off those Vivienne bubble gum shoes !!

Katy looked absolutely stunning, and of course Mark scrubbed up well too haha …

And so, a few selections from the day … enjoy !
